Check out the Turbo C++ Visual Edition for $80. I've been using it a week now
and I am qite impressed. People thinking about buying Visual C++ should look
at this first.

More details please: I haven't even *heard* of it, and I'm a registered BC++
user who is routinely harassed with Borland junk mail...

Pete.

Basically, TC++ V.E. is TC++ 3.1 for Windows with a new tool called Protogen.
Protogen is a quick and dirty interface developer/code generator for making
prototypes (a similar tool exists for Visual C++). A Registered user such as
yourself may only need to buy the Protogen direct from the manuafacturer (Nope
Borland did not create it!) I'll post the address later. On the other hand,
If you got BC++ WITHOUT Application Frameworks....Then this would make an
excellent addition to your collection. (TC++ V.E. comes with OWL,Resource
WorkShop, Turbo Debugger for Win, Protogen, the Windows based IDE with Object
Browser, plus all the other usual necessities.) Helluva deal for $80.
