With the advent of templates, I'm sure that GENERIC.H isn't going to get much
usage.  However, some of us haven't gotten to that level of compiler yet.  In
the meantime, is there a standard for GENERIC.H?  I've used a couple of
versions that were slightly different (one had Paste macros, the other
didn't).  Which should I use?
