A week ago I posted a message asking for hints, papers, reports, etc
regarding a C++ programming style guide.

I received just a couple of replies (thank you guys!).

There's a book called "C programming guidelines". The first edition
is pretty old, but it has a lot of useful procedures to develop a "standard"
coding procedure. Thomas Plum (the author) wrote the 2nd edition in 1989,
but I haven't see this edition. The complete reference is:

    C programming guidelines
    2nd edition

    QA76.73.C15 P57 1989
    Plum-Hall eds.
