Not exactly proposal for std ISO but for this website. I think it could be
nice if instead of std-discussion we could have std::discussion, and
std::proposals, under the FORUMS.
Any thoughts?

I think Arthur was proposing to rename std-discussion to
std::discussion and std-proposals to std::proposals (which I guess
won't be possible for technical reasons as these are mailing lists).

Thanks. Unfortunately,:: and other special characters (like +, as in C++) d=
on't generally mix well with mailing lists and other software.

Just over the past few months, in setting up the site, forums, wiki pages, =
Twitter account, Facebook page and account, and other items - including the=
 plain-vanilla oh-my-goodness-you'd-think-it'd-be-just-paper IRS tax form f=

reject "+" characters in our electronic world. Anywhere.

I think Arthur was proposing to rename std-discussion to
std::discussion and std-proposals to std::proposals (which I guess
won't be possible for technical reasons as these are mailing lists).

Hi Herb

Not to be picky, but you could simply put an image instead of text.
Anyway, I think it would look "stylish" and "cool".

Regards.

I'm not sure whether that was serious. It made laugh, anyway.

Of course images don't work everywhere (in that twitter handle or=20
message...) and Google would not find any results for it. This is the web,=
=20
and you can only make the most if it if you play by "the rules" of the web.

The goal is:

 - ease of interoperability
 - accessible information
 - central discussion

The goal is **not** primarily to make it look awesome. That would depend on=
=20
taste anyway

Cheers
