Hi
I've just read that the new C++ for loop construct - the next generation -
has failed to reach warp factor 9 for now. No doubt, Scotty T L and Co are
working to fix it.
I wasn't a big fan of the proposal myself, not least because I thought the
loop should be const by default, but I think I'm in the minority in that
view and const had been tried before in C++/CLI anyway and it
wasn't considered a success.
So I am interested to know why has the next generation loop stalled for now
this time and what roughly is the plan to re-fly it. Can anyone enlighten
me?
Thanks
