Hi,
I am new to the C++ standardization process and I am sure this has been
asked a million times before. But how can I track the current status of a
proposal? For example I am particularly interested in N3558, I want to know
if it has been discussed in the committee, and if there is any
implementation effort towards it. How do I find these information?
Thanks a lot.
Best,
Bob

Currently everything related to futures and so on is being discussed in
SG1; and SG1 is still not in agreement how futures will actually look like
in the future. I can't tell you when we'll ship future features like the
ones discussed in N3558; what I can tell you is that there's constantly new
papers on the topic and it has not been forgotten.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. Is there any where I can see a record of these
discussions? Or ISO have some kind of rules that the discussion can only be
private.
Thanks a lot.
Best,
Bob
